Ryunosuke Okazaki creates couture dresses informed by Jōmon-era pottery Tokyo-based designer Ryunosuke Okazaki has created a collection of couture dresses in bold colours and shapes that are informed by Japanese Jōmon-era pottery and the Shinto religion. For his graduate project from the Tokyo University of the Arts, Okazaki released a lookbook that showcases a trio of couture dresses titled JomonJomon that reference Jōmon-era pottery and Shinto, an ancient religion that originated in Japan.
