Louis Vuitton renews its partnership with the America's Cup as Title Partner of the Louis Vuitton 38th America's Cup Naples 2027

Louis Vuitton renews its partnership with the America's Cup as Title Partner of the Louis Vuitton 38th America's Cup Naples 2027, and will once again host the legendary challenger selection races known as the Louis Vuitton Cup

Paris, 21 January 2026 – Louis Vuitton is pleased to continue its legacy with the America's Cup by renewing its commitment as Title Partner of the Louis Vuitton 38th America's Cup, which will take place in Naples in 2027, setting the course for a new legendary journey.

The sea has always been a source of timeless inspiration, fuelling the stories of some of the greatest legends. After Barcelona in 2024, Naples is now preparing to become the stage for a new chapter with the Louis Vuitton 38th America's Cup Naples 2027. Starting in 2026, the five teams – Emirates Team New Zealand, GB1, Luna Rossa, Tudor Team Alinghi and K-Challenge – will compete across several phases of preliminary races. The Louis Vuitton Cup, the eliminatory round, will begin in May 2027 in Naples. Each challenger will set its sights on the Defender, Emirates Team New Zealand, in a bid to write its name in the history of the competition.

The creative signature for the Louis Vuitton 38th America's Cup Naples 2027 will be a graphic design by Gaston-Louis Vuitton -Louis Vuitton's grandson-, featuring the "V" of Vuitton, in addition to the Louis Vuitton Cup. In the 1900s, Gaston-Louis reimagined the "V", making it into his personal signature and reflecting a pioneering vision of personalisation. Reminiscent of a coat of arms, the navy blue, white and red design allowed Gaston-Louis Vuitton to identify his luggage at a glance. Also an emblem of Victory, it is a triumphant symbol that embodies the America Cup's values of courage and the relentless pursuit of excellence, once again proving that Victory Travels in Louis Vuitton.

This partnership celebrates a unique connection centred around innovation, performance and elegance, in which technical precision and handcrafted savoir-faire come together. The AC40 and AC75 foils, engineered with precision, and the Trophy Trunks for the America's Cup and Louis Vuitton Cup, crafted by expert artisans from the Asnières workshop, together embody the pinnacle of excellence.

The America's Cup and Louis Vuitton, respectively founded in 1851 and 1854, share a heritage defined by a daring spirit and a relentless pursuit of excellence. In 1983, the House sealed its first sporting partnership with the America's Cup. It revolutionised the competition by introducing challenger elimination rounds, known as the Louis Vuitton Cup, which opened the race up to a larger number of teams. Today, Louis Vuitton is proud to support this new edition, marked by the creation of a new governance, the America's Cup Partnership (ACP), a symbol of openness, modernisation and inclusivity.

We are delighted to support the America's Cup in its new transformation, ushering in an even more modern and inclusive era. Together, we experienced the Cup's first major transformation in 1983 with the creation of the Louis Vuitton Cup, and today we are honored to be present for this new historic edition, the first to take place in Italy, once again demonstrating that Victory Travels in Louis Vuitton.” says Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO, Louis Vuitton.

Louis Vuitton is synonymous with the modern America's Cup, they were there in 1983 when the America's Cup went through one of the biggest transformations in its history by introducing the Louis Vuitton Cup and are here again today with the formation of the America's Cup Partnership. A shared journey rooted in excellence and transformation for over 40 years.” states Grant Dalton, CEO of the America's Cup Event.
