NEW: Jubilee Crown Collection

Licensed To Charm

Regal Elegance for everyone!
A new jewellery collection inspired by Elizabeth II's favourite tiara in celebration of the Platinum Jubilee year.

Elizabeth II owned a jaw-dropping collection of jewels – one of the largest in the world. A firm favourite was the iconic ‘Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara’, previously owned by the late Queen's grandmother, Queen Mary, which is why it was affectionately called Granny's tiara.

The latest collaboration between The National Portrait Gallery and Licensed to Charm, the Jubilee Crown Collection, launches on 13th October in celebration of the Platinum Jubilee year and the life of our much-loved monarch. It takes inspiration from the iconic portrait of Queen Elizabeth II taken by Dorothy Wilding in 1952, one of the series of the monarch wearing the ‘Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara' taken shortly after the accession.

The collection includes a beautiful range of sustainably and ethically produced silver jewellery and is designed and handmade in Britain using Sterling Silver and Gold Vermeil. The design represents the opulent classical jewelled swags and finials on the 'Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara’ reinterpreted in a simplified form and used to create a range that includes both modern classic pieces such as the necklace and cuff bracelet and more fashion-forward items including ear cuffs and climbers, and stunning statement hoops.

The National Portrait Gallery Collection launches on Thursday, 13th October, at https://licensedtocharm.com/brands-html/design-culture/national-portrait-gallery.html
