Cuban Actress Talks Dwayne Johnson Series, Beauty & Fitness
Cuban American actress Arlyn Broche has starred in shows like HBO’s “Ballers” and Amazon Prime’s “Gravesend,” and currently plays the role of ‘Dany Garcia’ in Season 3 of Dwayne Johnson's comedy series (based on his life) "Young Rock" (Fridays at 8:30PM ET on NBC). When she's not flying between Miami, FL and Memphis, TN to film, this Spanish-speaking mother of three is busying auditioning, reading, and hitting the gym.
In NBC's "Young Rock," the adventures of everyone’s favorite WWE icon-turned-blockbuster movie star (a.k.a, Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson) continue as the end of Season 2 saw The Rock (Uli Latukefu) make his debut at Wrestlemania, the WWF's biggest event on its wrestling calendar. Unfortunately, his debut appearance at "the showcase of the immortals" doesn't go too well. During Season 3, viewers will see the rise in popularity that saw The Rock become a household name in WWE.

Born as the daughter of Cuban immigrants, the Miami native had acting in her blood, quite literally. A gifted and creative child, she caught the acting bug in the 2nd grade, performing at an adult level as ‘Juliet’ in Shakespeare’s classic play Romeo & Juliet. She attended Florida International University to major in business. One thing led to another, and she decided to change her major to healthcare administration, but after some time of working in the field felt she wasn’t following her true passion and landed in FIU’s journalism program to pursue a career as an on-camera talent and then on to the school’s renowned theatre department where she was taking classes in voice, movement and stagecraft.
Arlyn has pursued acting for over 10 years, has done over 700 auditions, and has appeared in numerous independent films and feature films. She booked her first lead role in “Gravesend” on Amazon Prime and then booked the recurring role of Dany Garcia on NBC’s “Young Rock,” which was a full-circle moment for her because she has always admired Dany's career.”
