Born and raised in Memphis, Philip spent his childhood tugging at his grandmother Jean’s apron strings. While working as a corporate marketing and sales executive, first for FedEx, and then for Apple, he spent years thinking about opening his own business. Once the chocolate idea hit him in 2007, it became an obsession.
