Rita Wilson‘s getting attention after her Golden Globes beauty disaster.

The star, 63, live-tweeted the agonizing wait for her hair and makeup artist before Sunday night’s award show, sharing that she was “trying to be zen” despite her glam squad being over an hour late.

Though Wilson eventually made it to the red carpet with her children and husband Tom Hanks, who accepted the Cecil B. DeMille Award, Wilson is clearly not over her pre-show panic.

On Tuesday, she reposted a flood of Instagram support from hair and makeup artists. “People are giving her s—t for posting her ‘first world problems’ but she has every right to be upset,” Christel Edwards, a professional makeup and special effects artist, wrote.

“She booked someone, and paid for their services. And she didn’t publicly shame the makeup artist by naming them. Humans are allowed to be upset and sad about multiple things at once.”

Wilson has not shared the name of her offending makeup artist, nor has she said if they eventually showed up or if she simply did her own glam for the night. However, she was present at the show, wearing a sequin Tom Ford gown and a smokey eyeshadow look.

Plenty of artists sent pleas to Wilson to hire them for her next event — including Niki Metz, who was Kim Porter’s makeup artist and works with Tori Spelling.

Wilson responded to one person with a concise yet ominous statement: “There was no excuse.”
